Zara’s new collection has just landed on the site and it’s everything I had hoped for and more. I promise you will have this tab open until pay day!
Zara has long been the high street store to make my dreams come true. Every season I lust over certain trends and pieces at the catwalk shows that I can only dream of owning (one day!) But Zara turns those dreams into reality with their could-be-designer collection and even though it is pricier than their usual collections it’s still not going to break the bank!Zara’s SS17 collection has been created in collaboration with American photographer Steven Meisel. His team and Zara’s design team have worked closely to create a collection which draws inspiration from imagery associated with art. The result is oversized looks, flowing volumes, unstructured silhouettes and corsets all with the common theme of ribbon.
The SS17 Collection is part of Zara’s new ballerina inspired campaign and the pieces capture the look of an off-duty ballerina after a dance class or fabulous performance.
I absolutely love the relaxed feel of the collection with the oversized pieces and the beautiful use of layering in the 28 outfits displayed in the collection’s look book.
Safe to say this collection will be extremely popular and I’ve picked out my favourite outfits and pieces (bring on pay day!)
